Performing in front of audience is not anything that is new to this very hot looking guy. Chad has been performing and singing self made songs in front of a large audience, ever since the age of four. Chad is the son of Rex Murray, an air traffic controller and this passion for acting came to him from don’t know where. But, actually he seriously thought of taking modeling as a profession at the age of fifteen when an injury landed him in a hospital and one of the nurses encouraged him to pursue a career in modeling.

 

Two years later he moved to Hollywood, to make a name in the glamour world. When he reached Hollywood he got lucky with some modeling assignments and started modeling for brands like Skechers, Tommy Hilfiger and Gucci. Along with this he managed to get some guest roles on television series like‘Diagnosis Murder’ and ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’. We have also seen Chad on ‘Gilmore Girls’, where he did the role of Tristin Dugray. But maximum fame that he got on television was with the role of Lucas Scott, on ‘One Tree Hill.’ In the series he plays illegitimate son of Dan Scott and Karen Roe and half brother to Nathan. In the series he stays with his mother Karen. His father has never acclaimed him publicly. But fate plays a game and he and Nathan are put together in the same basketball team. Though later, they become friends with each other.

 

 

Apart from his television career, Chad has also worked on a number of movies. We have seen him in movies like ‘Freaky Friday’, ‘A Cinderella Story’ and ‘House of Wax.’ ‘A Cinderella Story’ and ‘House of Wax’ got nominations in Teen Choice Awards. But Chad has won a ‘Teen Choice Award’ for Best TV Actor in a Drama.

 

As far as his personal life is concerned, Chad married Sophia Bush in 2005, after dating her for almost two years. Sophia Bush is her co-star on One Tree Hill. In the series she plays the role of Brooke. But only after five months of their marriage, Bush filed in for divorce. As for now Chad has been going around with Kenzie Dalton, who he also met on the sets of ‘One Tree Hill’. As per the news Chad is now engaged to Kenzie Dalton.
