The fifth season of the series was aired on January 8, 2008. This season had eighteen episodes in it. The fifth season opens after four years of the events of the fourth season of the series. After this gap of four years, we are shown that Lucas’s work has become very famous in the market and he is now dating his editor. Peyton on the other hand is working as an assistant at a record label in LA and is not happy with the kind of life that she is living. Brooke has now become the owner of a clothing house, but soon the realization comes that money can’t make her happy. Haley and Nathan are not happy with each other, especially after Nathan met an accident that left him temporarily paralyzed. In the next episode of the season, Lucas and Skills help Jamie to rebuild an old soap box car, so that he can take part in a race. Mouth gets a new job but is very disappointed when he learns that his new boss hates him. Peyton is thinking of starting her own record label in Tree Hill.

Haley’s first day of teaching at Tree Hill High turns out to be a complete disaster. Nathan goes under depression after his accident and then comes out of it with help of his son.[read more....]
